How Do You Plan Your Work?

I'm a firm believer that some form of project management is useful, even when you work alone. It doesn't have to be complicated though. You could literally use a text file with a list of stuff to do. 

Instead of a more featured tool like Jira I chose to use spreadsheets. Spreadsheets take some time to build, but they have incredible flexibility, have tons of integrations, and are familiar to many. Here's how I use them to reprioritize work for an upcoming release.
