#19 Streamlined Multiplayer Menu
Boogie Bashers » Devlog
I decided to do a video devlog this time since I had already made a presentation about this for IGDA Ann Arbor.
I go into depth about why my multiplayer menu sucked, and how I went about re-designing it to make it easier for players to get into a game.
Changes since 0.13.4:
- Streamlined user experience of selecting characters and dances and of starting the game
- Fixed issue where sometimes game would never end even when a winner was displayed
- Fixed bug causing the game to sometimes return to the menu without ending
- Significant code improvements under the hood, eliminating many potential and future bugs
- Slight camera angle improvement when players are near the near and far edges of the stage. Bigger improvements on the way.
